Create a new Overleaf project

FYI

Creating a new Overleaf project to design the volume is usually done by the Editorial Board, not by the Guest Editors. Once the papers have been accepted, and have been converted to (compilable) LaTeX, Guest Editors hand over the files to the Editorial Board, who take over from there. We do this to a) spare Guest Editors from additional work; b) ensure continuity in the presentation of volumes over the years; c) make sure the Editorial Board is up to date with the journal's progress; and d) optimise the functionality of the Overleaf project.

For this last point, it is important that the Overleaf project is hosted by a Board Member who has an Overleaf (Standard) Subscription. This will ensure that certain functionalities (e.g. versioning and real-time track changes) are activated.

Workflow

  1. Download template from github
  2. In Overleaf, go to New Project > Upload Project
  3. Upload the template
  4. Invite relevant collaborators (Editorial Board)
  5. In front.tex, define the Volume details (year, title, editors, etc.)
