Personas
- 90+, married, geologist
- frequently on expeditions to collect fossils of ancient animals
- Has little computer experience
On his last expedition he collected a number of fossils which he managed to puzzle together. He now wants to get an idea of the movement of those animals.
He provides the bone structure/architecture and wants to get provided with movement data/animations automatically
Providing the data has to be very simple and intuitive. Animated results (from static data it's hard to imagine how the movement would look like)
- 50, married, nasa astronaut/geologist
- good computer skills
- found some fossils on the moon and wants to analyze them
The fossils he found on the moon don't resemble any animal on earth. Propably because of the different gravity the creature evolved differently. He wants to simulate their movement to better understand how the curious creatures may have walked/crawled/etc
Enter the data of the outlandish fossils and simulate their movement with different environmental settings.
Intuitive UI and robust physics engine
- 38, not married, engineer / inventor
- some experience in designing and building robots
- not the most experienced computer user, but able to use common tools to achieve his goals
The last robots he invented and build always had some kind movement of issues. Instead of going on with his try and error approach he wants to simulate possible movements of his robots before actually building them.
Enter a sketch of his robots into the program and simulate possible movements.
Get enough information out of the visual feedback to improve his robot design.
- 11, Student, School
- Has no experience in designing and poor computer skills
The school going kid want to use the application to play with the movement of animals and see how it looks like.
To please himself by playing around the application
