Refresh control window when main window refreshes to re-establish link

This is linked to

• making the control window a module (case Make the control window a module #8)
• saving the state of the modules

If we store the state of the control window, we can reopen it on page load

This is partly resolved. Control window is now a module

When the page is reloaded, the control window is not automatically reconnected (as the state is not stored). Pressing "C" again will reconnect
