This Project is a Movie rental and buying system implemented in C++. The System allows users to browse catalog of movies, rent and buy movies, manage their rentals and purchases, and store user data using file handling. The program also includes # and # features and is Implemented using Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) methodology.
Some of the key features of the system include:
- Browse movies by genre, Release date, and Popularity.
- Rent movies for a specified period of time.
- Buy Movies for unlimited access.
- Manage rentals and purchases through a user dashboard.

- Data persistence using file handling.
- Genre access according to your age
To install and run the system on your local machine, follow these steps:
- Clone the repository to your local machine using
git clone https://github.com/HartzFrequency/Movie_Rental_And_Buying_System.git
. - Navigate to the root directory of the project using
cd Movie_Rental_And_Buying_System
. - Compile the project using your preferred C++ compiler.
- Run the compiled executable.
Once the system is installed and running, you can use the following steps to use the system:
- Launch the Application.
- # for a new account or # to an existing account.
- Browse the catalog of movies and select a movie to rent or buy.
- Enter your payment information for purchases or rental period for rentals.
- After the payment is processed, the movie will be available to watch.
- Manage your rentals and purchases through the user dashboard.
