For Windows User:After the postgres is successfully installed on your system, you need to set the environment variable path for it.Simply type environment variable in search and open environment variable settings , there you need to select and open path settings and add a new path which will be path to bin folder of postgres installation in your C://program files.
Once you set the path and save the settings, verify it by opening command prompt and running psql --version command there.
