Post mortem analysis of PCBs v1

HMI Board seems fine.

Compute Board issues:

• 12V to 5V buck converter is hot to the touch, it's normal but it should be changed with a cooler IC;

I2C traces cut after check of SDA and SCL voltage: SDA was always pull down.

• ADC was literally fried and tied the SDA pin to GND, making the I2C connection not working;

  • cutting power supply eliminated the heating issue

  • might separate ADC and DAC I2C to improve resilience;

  • use an isolation amplifier

• DAC is still working
