also with the folder structure, is plugins/plugin necessary ? or can it just be plugin

on a side note would this alternative folder structure be useful for maintaining the files? i can help with the remaining of everything if needed

The plugin folder is needed since the user will need to add it to their system anyway. As for your alternate unfortunately if it is used like that bootNTR will not detect the plugins

Would bootntr detect the title names ? The format is how I store it on my pc to organize it when I transfer it to the 3ds I remove the - and everything after. Also I was looking for information on the .plg itself on how to compile it and does it need to be cheat.plg or titleid.plg

mainly because some of the folders have plugin files with titleid.plg and some just have cheat.plg
