Town of Host Plus v1.0

This is the first (and maybe only) release of TOH+. This adds on to Town of Host: The Other Roles with the goal of making it a bit more playable while adding new content.

Works with Among Us v2023.2.28 and v2023.3.28 on the Steam, Epic Games, and itch.io versions of the game.
Yes, TOH+ supports the itch.io version of the game.

Fixes

  • Roles are now displayed correctly when TOU styled roles is disabled
  • Double cooldown fixed
  • Black screen after a meeting when a dead desynced impostor fixed
  • Witch win condition added
  • Fade effect now matches the alignment color rather than the role you got

Removals

  • TOHTOR tags removed
  • TOHTOR vanilla role remakes removed (replaced with the actual vanilla roles)

  • Opportunist has a new color

  • Executioner has a new color
  • Oblivious now hides the report button for modded players rather than disabling it from lighting up
  • Jester can no longer get the Torch modifier due to it having the option for Impostor vision
  • Role sub text changed to sentence case for vanilla parity
  • Sheriff not being able to kill for modded players when shot count is 0 fixed (re-added -1 as an option that does the same thing as 0, but it can kill)
  • Snitch partially recoded so Trickster can't be found by the Snitch (by design)
  • Impostor and madmate color adjusted to match the vanilla color (#ff0000 -> #ff1313)
  • Assassin (role) -> Assassin (modifier)

Additions

New Roles

Impostors

Wildling: An impostor that is more powerful than the other Impostors, and has certain attack immunity
Trickster: An impostor that appears crew to Sheriff, Investigator, and Snitch
Eradicator: An impostor that leaves no bodies behind
Imp: An impostor that looks like a Child, but just functions like a regular Impostor

Madmates

Consigliere: A madmate that can get the alignments of other players
Saboteur: A madmate that can sabotage

Crewmates

Marshall: A crewmate that is revealed to the rest of the crew on task completion
Detective: A crewmate that knows the role of the body it reports and the role that killed it
Deputy: Sheriff partner, functions like the Sheriff
Ironclad: Mad Guardian but as a crewmate

Neutrals

Masochist: A neutral role that wins if they get attacked a set amount of times
Predator: A killing role that wins by killing a set amount of people rather than killing everyone
Lawyer: A neutral with a target, wins with that target
Poisoner: A neutral killer with delayed kills
Vindicator: A neutral killer with extra votes
Serial Killer: A neutral killer that can sabotage and optionally guess
Traitor: A neutral killer with all the abilities of a regular Impostor, every player must be dead to win
Glitch: A neutral killer that can sabotage like an Impostor, but cannot vent. Info cannot be gained from their kills and appears crew to the investigator
Wraith: A neutral killer that appears crew. Cannot start meetings or vote in them. Can sabotage doors.

Modifiers

Overclocked: Killer-only modifier that changes their kill cooldown to a different value
Quick Fix: A crew modifier that allows fixing sabotages much more quickly
Burst: A crew modifier that, on death, causes their killer to die if they don't hide in a vent in time
Sticky: A global modifier that, on death, causes their killer to be stuck in place for a set amount of time
Amplify: A modifier that adds one extra vote to the player. Isn't assigned to roles that modify their votes in some way.
Eternal: A modifier that prevents the game from ending as long as they are alive (wins like Jester still happen)
Blind: A modifier that sets the vision of the player to 0.1x (this only exists as a joke)
Undercover: A neutral killer only modifier that basically makes them on the Impostor side
Insight: Crew modifier that gives the player Impostor vision
Outsight: Impostor modifier that gives the player crewmate vision
Necroview: A global modifier that allows the player to see the alignments of dead people
Forensic: Modifier that gives the player doctor info
Tethered: Impostor modifier that disables their vent ability
Chainlink: A modifier that links the life of two players together

Settings

Disable Tasks

Disable Waterwheels Task: Disables the waterwheels task on Polus
Disable Waiting Tasks: Disables Inspect Sample, Run Diagnostics, and Reboot Wifi
Disable Clean Vent Task: Disables the vent cleaning task

Everything else

Show Role Descriptions: Port of the setting from TOH that tells vanilla players their role description at the start of the game
Show Task Counter: A setting that disables the task counter
