The autocompletion (for the search) is pretty subpar. For example,

  • we show many authors instead of the recommended 10-13.
  • the input is not highlighted in the recommendation

See https://baymard.com/blog/autocomplete-design for common pitfalls in the ux of autocompletion (essentially every single one applies).
