Does this happen when you listen to a local file? Interesting to see a negative value.

Yes, I just played through with downloaded files and the same error occurs after the song ends. The widget works fine upon restart until the next song ends and the error occurs again.

sometimes spotify can't handle downloaded mp3 files correctly. I will fix the bug so that the widget no longer crashes. However, it will not be able to show the time for these songs because Spotify transmits incorrect values.

It has the issue with streamed files as well, unfortunately

confirmed to fail with streaming. I'm okay with not needing time stamps though, that's fine by me.
