Welcome to the LegacyLauncher (aka LaunchWrapper) wiki! The LegacyLauncher is a wrapper for Minecraft that the launcher uses to launch when somebody is launching a 1.5- version, to execute the new authentication system for these versions. However, modders have used this to make bytecode modifications to Minecraft without redistributing the jar.
