Welcome to the Lighthouse wiki!

What's LightHouse Theme Switcher?

LightHouse allows you to automatically apply your favorite Plasma Desktop themes according to the time of day. You can, for example, set it to automatically change from a Light Theme to a Dark Theme in the evening, or vice versa in the morning.

With LightHouse you are in control!

Given the extreme simplicity, Lighthouse gives carte blanche to your imagination, allowing you to accomplish even your finer customizations.

What can LightHouse do, in detail?

LightHouse applies your favorite themes system-wide. Following a well organized schema, it allows you to change:

  • KDE Plasma's Global Theme
  • KDE Plasma's GTK3 Theme
  • KDE Plasma's Wallpaper
  • KDE Plasma's Konsole default profile

Simply put, no one is excluded!

Ok, this sounds great, where do I start?

Are there bugs?

Last but not least, LightHouse, although perfectly usable on a daily-basis, is in a early stage of development and may be definitely affected by small bugs here and there.

In case you find some bugs, please open an Issue and help me understanding your problem: remember to include as much information as possible!
