Genie

Introduction

Netflix/Genie is a federated job execution engine. Within Netflix it is primarily used to handle scaling out jobs for our big data platform in the cloud but it doesn't require AWS or the cloud to benefit users.

The configuration of this container has no dependencies on AWS and includes an example of configuring a Hadoop 2 cluster and command within Genie and then executing jobs on that cluster through Genie.
