The networks provides two ways on how you can limit the visibility of user’s posts and the interaction with other users: Muting and blocking.
Muting posts:
- Unilaterally hides posts of other users.
- The posts of the muted user don’t appear neither on the post overview nor in the search results.
Blocking users:
- Mutually limits the freedom of interaction between users as follows: – Both users are not able to comment the posts of the other. – Both users don’t get any notifications of the other.
On the profile page of a user click the three dots next to his/her profile image and select Mute user
.
You will find the list of muted users in your account settings on the page Muted users
.
You can unmute a user either in your account settings or on their profile page.
- in your account settings click on the page
Muted users
, then on theunmute
button next to the respective user. - on the profile page of the respective user click the
Unmute user
button or click the three dots and thenUnmute user
.
On the profile page of the user click the three dots next to his/her profile image and select Block user
.
In your account settings on the Blocked users
page you will find the list of blocked users.
You can unblock a user either in your account settings or on their profile page:
- in your account settings click
Blocked users
and then theunblock
button next to the respective user. - on his/her profile page click the
Unblock user
button - or click the three dots and selectUnblock user
