  • Replaces TPCast connection wizard software with a VirtualHere based solution running on Raspbian Stretch.
  • Enables use of the on-board microphone and auxiliary USB port of the HTC Vive, and on-board microphone of the Oculus Rift.
  • Compatible with all HTC Vive versions of the TPCast (PRE, CE-CN, CE-US, CE-EU), and the TPCast for Oculus Rift.

Refer to the upgrade guide for instructions on how to update the TPCast to use OpenTPCast.

  • Added support for updating VirtualHere USB Server to the latest version through the web control panel, and added VirtualHere USB Server licensing and service status details.
  • Added custom event handler to Lighthouse FPGA RX to alleviate grey screen issues for some Vive users.
  • Added web API for querying VirtualHere and OpenTPCast software information. These can be accessed with http://<tpcast-ip-address>/api/info/opentpcast and http://<tpcast-ip-address>/api/info/virtualhere respectively.
  • OpenTPCast Control Panel will now display a notification and auto-refresh the browser while the TPCast is rebooting after making changes.
  • Added installed OpenTPCast version to footer bar in control panel.
