Shows data sources and requests (missing data sources people want) for a particular region

A "community" is just a named saved search (#21) built on the search results page (#250). For example, a "Pittsburgh" community would show all the data sources from all the agencies associated with Pittsburgh.

Communities can have overlapping and shared custody of Data Sources. A Data Source belonging to many communities is a good thing, and means a lot of people are interested in its maintenance.

  • automatically generate a community url for every county and state
  • saved queries have a unique URL for sharing
  • nice-to-have: revision history for the view as a whole
    • new and modified data sources
    • who made the change, when
