- It's right here you idiot; There is a shark with an arrow pointing towards a card. That card also has a shark. Or a frog with an arrow pointing towards a card. That card also has a frog.
- Smallest island; the map is split into 3-5 connected islands. The islands are sometimes completely isolated, or sometimes isolated by blank cards. The smallest island is all lizards and frogs. The others are fish and sharks. On the harder difficulties, the two small islands are very close in size.
- Multi word search: The word frog can be spelled out MANY ways in a grid. After you find a bunch of them, a frog is revealed.
- The letters "F", "R", "O", "G" make a big square, rectangle or diamond. The dimensions are always odd (3x3, 3x5, 5x5, 5x7). After spelling 'frog' (or FRO) the frog is at the center.
- (Maybe the letters are always in a 5x5 square, none are in the same row/column. The center is always filled with sharks until you spell 'FROG'.)
- Maybe a "climbing game" where they have to stay on level 1 until they find an up arrow... then to the next level, and find another up arrow (and maybe there are lizards which clue where the 'hints' are on the next level... hints specifying that the up arrow is on the left or right)
- So many arrows: About nine arrows which all point in different directions; some frogs some blank spaces. After you click once, all the arrows turn blank.
- Maybe something like "Chicken Cha Cha Cha." A set of symbols are revealed. When you click a card its symbol has changed.
- Maybe something like "Memorix 2." A bunch of cards are revealed in pairs which follow a pattern. Clicking pairs of cards is OK, but if you don't pair them up then a shark appears instead.
- Maybe a "corner maze"
- Maybe something vaguely like minesweeper -- you click somewhere. lizards are safe (you can click their surroundings) and fish are dangerous (you can't click their surroundings unless it's also next to a lizard)
- Find the intersection of two lines... sharks are on the lines, but frogs are at the intersections. something (fish?) warns you when you're near a line.
- It's always in the same place; A complex-looking pattern of islands. The frog never moves, it is always on the same exact square.
- A slightly less dumb (more dumb?) version of the above idea; the frog is always the middle card of the third row, unless the third row is empty, in which case it is in the exact same square. There is a signalling arrangement of cards (maybe some lizards/fish) so the player can easily recognize this level. Easy versions have an arrow pointing to the exact same square. Medium difficulty versions have the third row with a single card. Hard difficulty versions have the third row with 3-5 cards.
- Tiny maze -- a little ~12 tile maze where the previous tiles are hidden aggressively, and reused in the path of the maze.
