How to upgrade from Pythagora beta to Pythagora v1

We are excited to announce that Pythagora has officially launched out of beta and version 1 is now available! The rollout for Pythagora v1 is happening over the next few days/weeks, so if you haven't already, you can # for early access here.

Once you #, we’ll notify you by email as soon as you've been granted access with instructions on how to setup Pythagora v1. We'll be granting access to users over the coming days/weeks.

Steps for New Pythagora Users:

If you're new to Pythagora, there are a few steps you'll need to follow once you receive access:

  1. Install VS Code: If you don’t have it installed already, you can download and install it from the official VS Code website.

  2. Set Up Python: You will also need to install Python version 3.9 or higher on your local machine. You can find Python installation instructions on the official Python website.

  3. Install Pythagora v1: Follow the steps in the welcome email you received to install the new Pythagora v1 extension from the VS Code marketplace.

Steps for Existing Pythagora Beta Users:

If you’ve been using the Pythagora beta version, there are some additional steps to follow when upgrading to Pythagora v1:

  1. Uninstall the Beta Version: Make sure to uninstall the old beta version of the Pythagora extension from your VS Code setup.

  2. Install the Latest Version: Once the beta version is removed, follow the instructions in your welcome email to install the new Pythagora V1 extension.

  3. Follow any additional steps in the welcome email.
