better plot formatting

Can you please add the following changes:

• make sure that the ticks on the x axis are always on a 1s interval
• give the plots more space in the y axis and maybe also a fixed number of ticks
• add an option to substract the average of the position trajectories, such that they are centered around zero, could help if some joint values get extreamly high
