Stats

Agents and relationships in TDRS track numerical values that represent things like personalities, resources, and probabilities. All stat values are stored as floating point numbers. Stats can be clamped between maximum and minimum values and/or floored to the nearest integer value.

Designers can use stats as preconditions within social rules and social events. Or, they can use stats externally to gate in-game content based on things like an NPC's affinity for the player.

Stats track a base value and they can have modifiers attached to them which augment the base value.

To learn more about defining agent/relationship stats, please see the following how-to guides. They cover defining stat configurations for agent/relationship instances.
