This tutorial provides basic overview how to enable your PC running Ubuntu & ROS to communicate over Ethernet POWERLINK.

- ROS CPP sources for basic communication over POWERLINK using CiA401 profile
- B&R Automation Studio project configuration using B&R X20CP series PLC and CiA401 profile external fieldbus device
- Runtime results
- B&R PLC X20CP14F84 or similar openPOWERLINK compatible PLC
- Linux PC ideally with i210 based Ethernet Controller
- Ubuntu 14.04 LTS + ROS Indigo (should work on 16.04 LTS + Kinetic)
- B&R Automation Studio
