Once I've added new cores to my build you have to update your es_systems.cfg
! The easiest way to do this is to delete the old file in \\your-device\Configfiles\emulationstation
and apply the new update (again). Then the latest version of the systems file will be installed.
You can download your favorite emulationstation themes and extract them to \\your-device\Configfiles\emulationstation\themes\
check out the RetroPie wiki for further details.
I've added the mp3/ogg Background Music Player patch to emulationstation which allows the user to play .mp3 & .ogg
music while browsing the gamelists, place your music in either of one of those folders:
\\your-device\Configfiles\emulationstation\\music
\\your-device\music\emulationstation\
And ES will start to randomly play music once started, you can disable the bgm in ES settings menu.
Out of the box Emulationstation will look for roms in /storage/roms
so place your roms according to the emulator in the subfolders.
Pegasus-Frontend also supports themes for example gameOS so extreact them to \\your-device\Configfiles\pegasus-frontend\themes\
to be able to use them afterwards. Check out the https://pegasus-frontend.org/tools/themes/ for further details.
Check out the Libretro Docs how to use it.
