Brave Browser

The latest Brave Browser will be downloaded & installed when you launch it the first time, if there is an update available it will be downloaded and installed automatically without user interaction.

Configuration

In the config dir you can edit brave-flags.conf to pass additional flags at runtime. The defautl flags, beside the --user-data-dir= flag, are --no-sandbox --start-maximized & you can also pass --test-type to get rid of the missing sandbox message. But beware, adding this flag can lead to login issues for google services so add it after you're logged in.

  • Config dir:
  • SMB: \\your_system\Configfiles\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser
  • SSH: /storage/.config/BraveSoftware/Brave-Browser

Spotify

The latest Spotify client will be downloaded & installed when you launch it the first time, if there is an update available it will be downloaded and installed automatically without user interaction.

  • Config dir:
  • SMB: \\your_system\Configfiles\spotify
  • SSH: /storage/.config/spotify
