evaluation phase: skip objective

For timing for final evaluation,

• run(..., update_objective_interval=inf)
  • so we don't slow down algorithms which don't actually need the explicit objective
• set metrics interval=1
  • so we get fine-grained progress (doesn't contribute to reported time)
