Lighting Phillips Hue
I cant say enough for the reliability of these lights and the ease of configuration. I would say if you want to keep using the regular light switch these are not for you as they need constant power. The bulbs require the purchase of the bridge for communication of Zigbee. They have three types of bulbs.
Bridge
Adding to Home Assistant is a simple as following this platform setup Hue Bridge and restart your HA and the lights will be added using the names from the Hue app.
And for a real life example look in my Configuration
Bulbs
- Color
- Ambiance (changes color temp ie. Bright White to a glowing yellow)
- White
They have several different types of lights that i dont use for example Hue Bloom and Led strips (which I have diy'ed my own)
