- GTAT - Refers to GTA Tournament, a website ran by DracoBlue that many players use for a central communication to share videos, pictures, or the like.
- AC or ACv2 - Refers to the Anti-Cheat that can be downloaded at samp-ac.com.
- werner - A German hack that makes players invincible while running but not while shooting.
- DracoBlue - runs the GTA:T website and server. His server used to be on the official's list before SA-MP 0.3 came out.
- 90NINE - An original developer to A/D Rumble. Ran one of the best SA-MP clans in the early days of SA-MP. His clan is said to be responsible for one of the SA-MP source code leaks according to kye/kalcor.
- moe - An original developer to A/D Rumble. Ran a different clan that was said to be on par with 90NINE's clan.
- Styla, Matrix, cam3 - Some of the biggest known trolls in SA-MP A/D.
- Modeler, Emir16 - Some of the biggest known cheaters in SA-MP.
- Al_Pacino - Said to be one of the earliest SA-MP cheaters, however that is in dispute. Al_Pacino is responbile for bringing SA-MP to a bigger audience by single-handedly getting SA-MP on ESL's competitive website.
- Whitetiger - One developer of this gamemode. Been involved in the development of 5 different A/D game types, creator of the SA:MP Anticheat. Badass.
- uL Clan - Said to be one of the best SA-MP clans that is still around. Held an undefeated clan war list for many years. Eventually defeated by the TeK clan.
