While the behaviour with Sunshine is correct, using NVIDIA the Moonlight has some strange behaviour:

  1. First run of a remote application after pairing is working fine.
  2. When selected remote application closed, the streming stays active (while on sunshne it closes Moonlight).
  3. From the second time, the connection with NVIDIA works but the selected app does not start (You simply see the desktop).
  4. To solve this issue you have to turn off NVIDIA Shield and reactivate (or reboot PC) and then connect one more time with Moonlight.

On Sunshine it seems to be all correct.

This seems to be an issue with the gamestream library exit function not running. (It errors out) - Im wondering if it's leaving a session open somehow.

I have different behaviour, where nvidia gamestream runs like a bag of nuts, sunshine runs 10x better but both struggle to exit the session correctly and seem to leave something dangling.

On sunshine you can use:

But Nvidia gamestream is just an off off toggle. Either of them aren't really convenient :D

Still looking into it anyways, cheers.
