Farside has a list of public instances in this repo. But for some services, it pulls in instances from the parent project. So if you want to add a service to Farside, here is a table that explains which files would need to be edited for which service:
Service | Where to edit | Instructions |
---|---|---|
Nitter | Farside | Edit services-full.json |
Piped | Farside | Edit services-full.json |
Lingva | Farside | Edit services-full.json |
Rimgo | Farside | Edit services-full.json |
Wikiless | Farside | Edit services-full.json |
Librarian | Farside | Edit services-full.json |
Proxitok | Farside | Edit services-full.json |
Librex | Parent | See "How to add your instance to the list" |
Quetre | Parent | Edit misc/instances.txt |
Libremdb | Parent | Edit misc/instances.txt |
Searx | Parent | See searxng/searx-instances |
Libreddit | Parent | See libreddit/libreddit-instances |

The deployed Farside site is updated every 24 hours. So it could take up to 24 hours.
services-full.json contains all of the instances. services.json is the same list but with services proxied by Cloudflare removed.
Your instance is probably being rate limited. Farside checks your instance every 5 minutes and removes you from the list if you are being rate-limited.
