At present, there is seemingly no way to add a facet for user handles in the intent link dialog. When you add one to the text= query parameter it renders as plaintext and not a facet:
Adding a query parameter (via= is what I've seen elsewhere) that enables a handle to be faceted into the body text would help connect content being shared by intent buttons with the accounts that are publishing it (e.g., a news org).

It might be possible to automatically facet handles without them being a separate query parameter; ultimately the need is for handles included in action intent links to be linkable to the account in question.

I'm working on a proposal for sharing buttons on the FT.com estate and this is somewhat of a requirement.
