Paul went to ORNL and got offical blessing to spend 20% of his time on BMX. Dish prototype needs a last optional piece for Justine, then we will order for real and spend our money.
Jeff and Remington made a good progress wiht OMT, getting >90% coupling over much of the frequency range, can now optimize it a little bit to get better bandwidth and reach high frequncies.
Some progress on instrument simulator. We now have full catalog of 1Jy+ sources over the northern hemisphere with NVSS, some 2000 sources. Evan is working on trying to incorporate it into simulator. We also managed to convince CRIME into producing synchrotron maps over the frequency range of interest including polarization (the original code refuses to do so if Haslam frequency is not covered by target frequency; patch is being submitted to David Alonso)
