Hi,
It's quite cumbersome to use older Sage versions so I converted the script to work with Sage versions >= 9.0


          analyze_linalg_1st.py converted for Sage 9 (Python3)

Thanks @doegox ,

I hope it would be merge to the repo.
I tested your modification and it's working with sage 9.2 with python 3.9.2 version in my case.
