Windows Setup

I recently switched to a windows machine as my primary work computer, after being a mac user for the last 10+ years. I'm recording some of my learning and programs I find useful here (Update - I'm switching back to a mac as my work computer, but this stuff is still useful for my home machine, which is still a windows computer).
Things I actually installed:
- Greenshot (https://getgreenshot.org/) - Better screenshot capabilities, bonus points for open source. Defaults to replace print-screen button.
- Git for windows
- Conemu - The git bash terminal window sucks (Note, at some point, I should check out the new windows terminal)
Not Windows Specific:
- Dropbox
- Evernote
- Gimp
- Sublime Text 3 - Duh
Tried and rejected:
- Notable. I really, really wanted this to work. Evernote is fine, but I really want a markdown-compatible editor, and loved Bear notes. This just isn't ready for primetime. Lots of little bugs, and as much as I'd like to, I don't have the time to devote to helping make it better (it's open source).
