The JavaHelp plugin has been removed from the default DITA-OT distribution package for version 3.0 with dita-ot/dita-ot#2726.

  • The docs should be updated to remove JavaHelp from the list of default transformations and corresponding transtype-specific topics, including:

    • user-guide/dita2javahelp.dita
    • dev_ref/XhtmlJavahelp.dita
    • parameters/parameters-javahelp.dita
    • samples/ant_sample/sample_javahelp.xml
    • samples/ant_sample/template_javahelp.xml

  • Remove references from processing structure diagram.

  • As with other legacy formats removed from recent versions, we should link to the plug-in repository in the migration section:

    https://github.com/dita-ot/org.dita.javahelp

  • To make it easier for users to restore the plug-in, we should also add instructions on how to re-install from the GitHub repository using the dita command:

      dita --install https://github.com/dita-ot/org.dita.javahelp/archive/2.5.zip
