Rain or Shine 919

An API based MERN stack current and forecasted weather app that allows the user view current conditions and a five day forecast. New users may #, create an account, and set their home city to load whenever they log in.

Usage

To use the app, navigate to https:rain-or-shine919.herokuapp.com please follow the following steps.

1. Enter a city or town in the search bar.

2. Click the Search button. The current conditions in addition to a five day forecast will be populated to the right.

3. To #, click the Sign-up button and follow the registration instructions, setting your hometown to the city you would like to show after logging in. You will then be logged into the website.

4. To login, click Login and enter you user information, you will be logged in, your selected homecity will now show up, and any search history you create will be stored to the database.

5. To logout, click the Options dropdown and chose Logout. You will be logged out of your account but may still use the search function as you wish.

6. To change your hometown, click the Options drop down and then Set Home City. This will update your hometown and display the most recent data available.

7. To view the weather data for your hometown, click the Options dropdown and select Go to Hometown. This will display the most recent data for your saved hometown.
