Upload video to YouTube

GitHub action to upload video to YouTube, powered by yutu.

Inputs

version

Optional, The version of yutu to use, v0.9.5 for example, leave empty to use the latest version.

credential

Required, Please refer to yutu prerequisites to get a credential.

Note: The credential should be base64 encoded as input, for example:

base64 -w 0 client_secret.json

token

Required, Please refer to yutu prerequisites to generate a token.

Note: The token should be base64 encoded as input, for example:

base64 -w 0 youtube.token.json

file

Required, Path to the video file.

title

Optional, Title of the video, use filename if not provided.

desc

Optional, Description of the video.

tags

Optional, Comma separated list of tags for the video.

rate

Optional, Rating of the video: like, dislike or none.

comment

Optional, Comment for the video.

output

Optional, Output format: json, yaml or silent.

rest-flags

Optional, Flags passed to yutu, such as playlistId, for all available flags when uploading a video:

Upload a video to YouTube, with the specified title, description, tags, etc.

Usage:

  -a, --autoLevels                             Should auto-levels be applied to the upload (default true)

  -e, --embeddable                             Whether the video is embeddable (default true)
