Timeline of Bible History (TBH) translation

After giving it some thought, I have decided to go ahead with the translation of TBH. It can be done quite fast using online tools. That is the easy part. The hard part is revision/correction.

If you are willing to volunteer your time/effort to a certain language, please let me know in this thread.

@erykjj the abbreviations 'BCE' and 'CE', are they going to be translated elsewhere? Because in my language that would be 'f.v.t.' and 'e.v.t.'. If not, is it OK to write the danish translation with the abbreviations in parathesis, like this: "Før vor tidsregning (f.v.t.)

Do not be surprised if I haven't translated some of the text; the equivalent Cebuano term is quite obsolete for modern usage. Language is constantly evolving.

One question, the translation of "Christianity" is "Christendom" in Dutch.
I see in the jwpub that "Christendom" is also a option inside the "Worship" tab.
What is the difference between those 2? Because it would be strange to have 2 times "Christendom"

In English, the term “Christendom” refers to professed Christianity, in contrast with the true Christianity of the Bible.

Hello Eryk I’ve been feeling bad about this for weeks. Initially, I thought it would be a straightforward 1:1 translation, but I now see that the system requires a different approach—certainly very professional, but not something I can easily manage. If it had been a simple translation, I could have completed it in 1–2 full workdays. Unfortunately, I am currently very busy with other responsibilities, including a new assignment and some privileges for this summer season. I’m happy to keep this on my backburner, but I won’t be able to contribute actively. Sorry for that, and thank you for understanding.
