Installation and Configuration of Visual Studio Community

Download the Visual Studio Community 2017 (version 15.9) Installer. This will allow us to install Microsoft Visual C++ compilers and libraries, which will enable us compile the Qt Application for 64-bit windows machines. Hint: your myumanitoba email can be used for the Microsoft account when prompted.

Run the installer, then select the Desktop Development with C++ workload and click Install.
