Releases: g4ixt/QtTinySA
v1.0.2 new features and improvements
Updated with improvements and new features. See the Wiki pages for details of how features work.
New:
Waterfall display.
Save sweep data to a CSV file continuously.
Github workflow now builds the executables for Linux, Windows and macOS directly in Github runners.
Improved:
Any marker can be associated with any trace.
Marker max/min tracking much improved and now with 9 levels.
All markers can have a delta marker.
Peak detection threshold and frequency boundary lines de-cluttered.
All Python files moved into 'src' folder.
Fixed:
Database file copying bugs.
Database 'still connected' error on programme close.
Delete band in 'preferences' not working.
Various GUI anomalies.
The executables need the config/preferences database to be in the same folder. I have no way to test the macOS executable.
The Windows executable was built directly on Github using their workflow, not on my PC. It still flags up two 'trojans' on Virustotal from obscure AV providers, and 63 'nothing found' from all the other AV providers. If that concerns you then build your own and don't use the one provided here.
If you are upgrading from an older version, use the export feature for fixed markers/bands if desired, remove or delete the old database first and the new one will be copied automatically. Then import the fixed markers/bands CSV file you exported. (see Wiki Home page)
QtTinySA works on Ubuntu 24.04 and 22.04 and Debian v12. It does not work on earlier versions.
The arm64 version runs on PiOS12
QtTSAprefs.db is the configuration database.
