From here you can download the compiled BSPs of Castle Night / GF2 Asylum.

  • The attached vsh_castle_night_final is the same version as in the git repository. It does have missing assets - see more info on the README file.
  • The attached gf2_asylum_v1 is the latest version of the Asylum variant of Castle Night. This map was going to be the map for the new gamemode that was being worked on at the time. As such, this asylum variants of Castle Night are very different than the original variant.
  • The attached gf2_asylum_v1_PACKED is an older version of the map, however appears to have a lot of assets packed into the BSP file so should load without any errors.

Both of the gf2_asylum maps were intended that players would have flashlights to navigate around the map. Unfortunately at the time this proved difficult to achieve.
