PR is ready to be merged upstream. once it is released we can at least add support for stashing on per-file-basis

The stashing of hunks and lines will not happen anytime soon

@extrawurst I've been using gitui for the past three months, and it's been an awesome experience. Huge thanks for building such a great tool! At some point, I’d love to contribute as well.

One feature that would be incredibly powerful is the ability to stash individual files and, even better, individual chunks. This was one of my favorite features in Mercurial and TortoiseHg, and having it in gitui would be amazing.
