Please include this information:

What Grafana version are you using?

Grafana v5.0.0 (commit: af6e283)

What datasource are you using?

InfluxDB

What OS are you running grafana on?

Docker Image

What did you do?

Import a dashboard with an alert and place in a folder
Delete the folder

What was the expected result?

As per the documentation the dashboard should be deleted. It is assumed that the associated alert should be removed and the regular scheduled alert query should stop

What happened instead?

The dashboard is no longer visible but the alert query continues to fire on the schedule defined by "Evaluate Every" on the alert definition
