It appears that the octoprint service does not work if the initial user is not the default "pi" user. Using the Raspberry Pi Imager, you have the option to set the user credentials and I have a default that gets set on all my new images. I'm not sure if this is actually an issue with octoprint or this particular installation of octoprint, but I thought I would bring it to your attention so at least a note could be placed in the documentation.

Hey the feature was added to rpi-imager aftet OctoKlipperPi was released.
Its already fixed in the OctoPi 1.0.0 RC3 (release cabdidate) that I should release soon. Which will lead to a new OctoKlipperPi release.

Is there a reason rpi-imager is still stuck on the 0.18?

@Mekebra Thanks for pointing out. It looks like the CI does not update the release to rpi-imager automatically.
I just fixed it manually so its updated now. But it looks like there is some bug and its not updating correctly
