Go

I'm learning Go primarily to aid my understanding of Terratest and I think it'll be worthwhile from a career point-of-view.

Getting started

Go tutorials can be found here

Modules

Module Dependencies

The Go documenation here explains it clearly but in summary...

# Within the module directory
# go mod init 'path to the module' e.g.
go mod init github.com/heathen1878/go/modules/message

# if the module isn't publicly available then you can issue a replace directive within the calling module directory
go mod edit --replace github.com/heathen1878/go/modules/message=../message

# Then run go mod tidy to update the module dependencies within the calling module directory
go mod tidy
