В задании ошибка. Написано: "строку, состоящую из чётных символов", а тест написан для нечетных символов. Если пишешь в условии i % 2 === 0, вывод выдает ошибку, хотя задание то по сути выполнено. Поменяйте либо текст задания, либо тест.
