DexHand Mechanical Build Wiki

This is where you come to learn how to build and assemble a V1.0 DexHand.

Overview and Some Perspective

The process of 3D printing and assembling a DexHand is pretty involved and requires a good deal of mechanical aptitude as well as knowledge of printing, electronics, some firmware and software. However, it's also a very rewarding endeavour when you complete the journey!

This Wiki is not, by any means, a fully comprehensive step-by-step guide to building a DexHand. It contains all the information we've got in hand to date, and we will add references as they become available, but the process will require a good deal of intuition and commitment on your part as well in order to successfully complete a hand. We guarantee it can be done, as there are a number of examples in existence, and more by the day.
