Use classes, drop support for old nodes

This is a semver major change!

Also, use a tighter coding style.  Standard is too spacious.

Standard is too spacious

You must have eyes of a hawk or something, because 2 spaces are so cramped I can't even read it. 😂 Flippin' heck mate.
