Hi, thanks for raising this issue. Can you advise how frequently the problem occurs? Is it every time you open the Settings or only occasionally (please provide some info on how often)? Does the problem occur with all dialogs or only some of them? For example, if you select Extras > Goto > Module, does the "Modules" dialog have a similar error? To help me diagnose the problem, I will need a copy of the 'log' files which should be here "C:\Users%username%\AppData\Local\VBE_Extras\logging" where "%username%" is your username ... please create a Zip file of the 'logging' folder and attach here. Can you also advise: OS: (e.g. Windows 10) Finally, assuming you have Excel installed on your device, can you enter this formula into a blank cell and format that cell using Font "Microsoft Sans Serif"

Thank you for your quick answer. Sorry, my English is not so good.
I am from Austria and Windows and Office is in German.
The error occurs always when I try to open the settings.
The log files and some test you can find in the attachments.
I hope you can find the error. I paid for the license yesterday, but if this error keeps coming up, I unfortunately have to cancel the purchase.

VBE_Extras version: (e.g. 1.0.0.0)
If you use VBE_Extras on multiple devices, does the bug occur on all of them?
Do you have any other VBE Add-Ins installed and loaded at the same time as VBE_Extras?
Do you use an 'Office display language' other than English? If so, which one (or list if multiple)?
Do you have multiple versions of Office installed?
Anything else you think might be relevant ... if you're not sure, far better to mention it!

You can always email them to me directly at john@thevbahelp.com To help me understand what is causing the problem, I will also need to know whether the problem occurs with all dialogs or only some of them? I have tested =Unichar() once more in my Excel Version (German) an found the correct formular now. I hope this can help you |
