@bergwolf @jcvenegas looks like the CI is still not passing with this patched being reverted. I suspect the CI on this PR is not properly testing the latest changes since it should be fixed by this PR, and also because it should have caught the error on the initial PR... |

@kata-containers/packaging How about merging the PR first and then fixing the remaining of packaging CI later? The issue has been blocking all Kata CIs for several days already. |
I agree with this, we want to unblock the CI as the number one priority. |
