KernelCI
Status: moving to kernelci.org/docs
kernelci.org is a community based, open source distributed test automation system focused on upstream Linux kernel development. KernelCI.org builds many kernel trees automatically, boots them on a wide array of devices and runs test plans for a few subsystems. The results are reported via mailing lists and the web site.
kernelci.org is currently building most all ARM, ARM64, X86 and MIPS kernel configurations.
This wiki refers to KernelCI when talking about the project and the software whereas kernelci.org is the public service which uses the software to test upstream kernel branches.
kernelci.org uses dedicated build servers donated by several companies and community members.
The hardware for the boot tests is distributed in several labs:
- BayLibre (not public)
- Collabora
- LKFT
- Pengutronix
- Theobroma Systems
- Bootlin (not public)
For the staging infrastructure:
- KernelCI Staging Dashboard - frontend
- KernelCI Staging Dashboard API - backend
- KernelCI Staging Storage
- KernelCI Staging Jenkins
- IRC Channel:
#kernelci
in Freenode - Mailing lists:
- Private email: info AT kernelci.org
KernelCI has currently a lot of moving parts and all the information in this wiki is work in progress. This is a public wiki, feel free to contribute!
