Support SAM/BlastText formats?

Are there plans to support SAM or BlastText format outputs?

Edit: Is it also possible for the blast tab 6 format to keep columns 11/12 as E-value and Bitscore? This would make the output parsable by MEGAN6.

The default alignment output format is textual blast format (provided taxonomy is not used, otherwise there will be an additional column for that!) Cheerio, Gabe
